YC3 Wellbeing Subcommittee
The purpose of the wellbeing subcommittee is to raise awareness and inspire action in our community to create spaces that foster connection, inclusion, and a sense of belonging. The goal is to improve the quality of life by making everyone feel invited, welcomed, healthy, and happy.
Our Mission
“To improve the well-being of our community by promoting mental health, increasing access to resources, and creating connections that ensure every individual feels supported, included, and empowered.”
The Wellbeing Subcommittee is committed to identifying barriers to care and building partnerships that make services more accessible for everyone in York County. We work to strengthen mental health awareness, improve accessibility to community resources, and bridge communication gaps between English- and Spanish-speaking community members so all residents can access the support they need.
Our 2026 Priorities
This year, our committee is focused on:
Expanding Books Along the Trails with books available in both English and Spanish
Improving accessibility to public buildings throughout York County
Bringing existing organizations and community groups together to strengthen collaboration
