“To support, enhance, and foster the wellbeing of the children, youth, and families in York County”
Family is defined as an adult(s) with or without child(ren) meeting the wellbeing needs of those in their home. Community wellbeing is the combination of social, economic, environmental, cultural, and political conditions identified by individuals and their communities as essential for them to flourish and fulfill their potential.

Goal 1: Identify local respite options for families experiencing youth crisis
Goal 2: Parenting Education and Social group
Goal 3: Better collaboration with other YC3 subgroups about common goals and gaps within our county

2024 Goals
• Goal 1: Have a well-versed community on what programs are available for children ages prenatal-18 years and have residents engage in these services.
• Goal 2: Develop a committee of at-risk/not connected youth to drive community involvement and utilize positive leadership skills.
• Goal 3: Identify local respite options for families experiencing youth crisis.
Youth Advisory Initiative
Youth Advisory Initiative Leadership Group is supportive body within the Child, Youth, and Family Development Subcommittee. The goal of YAI is to guide and mentor the youth participating in the youth advisory initiative, foster the youth’s growth, and ensure their voices are heard in shaping community decisions.
